CapabilitiesWhether you're looking to digitally manufacture your model, visualize it in 3D space, simulate external stresses, or create renders for your website, we are at your service. Creating a digital model of your parts and products is a critical step for 3D printing, CNC milling, design optimization, marketing materials, and more. We'll create a model complete with accurate dimensions, material assignments, textures, and colors.

Autodesk Fusion 360 |
For complex industrial applications, we use SolidWorks. This common CAD tool suite allows us to more easily integrate with existing design infrastructure by importing and exporting editable parts and assemblies. If you or your team is already invested in SolidWorks, it may be advantageous for us to design on the same platform. Be sure to make this preference known when we discuss your project.

For most individual projects, we use a CAD/CAM software program called Autodesk Fusion 360 for our 3D models, renders, and more. As part of our clear communication endeavor, we use this program so you can easily check your digital designs to make sure they meet your expectations. You can see and interact with your digital designs in real time as we update and modify them. This includes rotating the model(s) in 3D space, zooming, showing/hiding parts in assemblies, checking part dimensions, making comments, and more. You can try this with the interactive example part below.

Set Up Fusion 360 Public Links - It's Easy!
- Ask your consulting engineer to set up a public link. Note: By default, anyone with access to the link will be able to see your model. For additional security, you can request that the site requires a password for viewing the model.
- Your engineer will reply with a URL that takes you to the Autodesk site. Note: The site may take a few minutes to load, especially the first time it is launched. It may also behave slower depending on your computer. The site may not work correctly on some mobile devices.
- After it loads, you will see your model as the engineer sees it. You can rotate and view your design in 3D space. The bottom menu contains various useful tools.
- If you see an outdated version of your design, refresh the page or contact your consulting engineer for assistance.
